New Year, New Magazine
Kevin Thomas
President
Welcome 2019, and Happy New Year to our family of members!
As promised here is your first edition of AAA Now!
I hope that you find it enjoyable, informative and, most importantly, I hope that it grows as a tool to help raise awareness of the many benefits that make AAA membership such a tremendous value.
You will begin to see more of the local club content I’ve promised, including the “Members in Motion” section below. We look forward to seeing and sharing your experiences!
Other examples of this personalized content include messages from our Travel Agency Manager, Maria Edwards, in the “AAA Travel Matters” section (pages 6-9), and from our Insurance Agency Manager, Rebecca Keyser, in the “AAA Insurance Matters” section (pages 4-5). Our outstanding managers and staff have valuable insights, information and stories to share, and we look forward to this content and more moving forward.
Finally, make sure to mark your calendars for the 2019 AAA Travel Expo on Feb. 23. This annual event highlights our exclusive AAA Akron Group Tours program and includes many of our valued partners to help plan your next great adventure.
Your membership matters!
Members in Motion
We look forward to celebrating our members engaging in the community, and as you travel the world!
Take a moment along your journey in life to
snap a selfie or group photo of you and your membership cards, and send them to our webmaster at webmaster@akron.aaa.com, along with names and locations of the photos. In each publication we will feature select entries, and we will begin to build
a photo album of our treasured AAA Akron Members in Motion.
As an example, pictured here are Mike Huber, member since 2012, and Julie Rusack, member since 2013, enjoying a West Akron back yard late summer graduation/college send-off party in 2018.
Thank you, Mike and Julie. Your membership matters!
