  Dear Family of AAA Members,
I want to first extend my deepest sympathies to everyone who has been touched personally by COVID-related illness. None of us know better than you the devastating impact of this virus. On behalf of our staff, our entire Summit County membership and ALL of AAA, I wish you peace, comfort and good health.
I also want to extend a tremendous THANK YOU to our AAA employees and service providers who have remained hard at work, managing the many aspects of our members’ lives impacted during this ongoing crisis. Throughout the shutdown, our associates and partners continued to deliver essential 24/7 Emergency Road Service; mitigate interrupted travel plans and assistance in getting people safely home during the early onset; continued essential insurance coverage and cost-saving member benefits; and so much more. AAA has survived and helped mitigate every great crisis America has faced over our storied 114 years of service in Greater Akron. And we will survive this, too, together with you.
While our doors were closed during the shutdown, we took great care to prepare our locations for your return, to ensure a safe and accommodating environment
for your in-person needs. We also can help you avoid unnecessary travel and potential exposure moving forward by continuing to fulfill your needs via phone, online at AAA.com and through email contact. And when face-to-face communication is necessary (as it
so often is), I encourage you to call in advance to confirm our availability and schedule an appointment with our Insurance and Travel Agents and Member Services Counselors. Their professional expertise and services are precious and so is your time. Business by appointment helps to assure you of the time and attention your needs deserve.
Our lives and our plans for the near and distant future have changed. But our love of the automobile, the open

road and traveling the globe remains. Our hearts yearn for adventure and exploration. Thus, travel WILL return and we remain ready to assist you when the time comes for you to venture safely back out into our beautiful world.
Finally, THANK YOU TO EVERY ONE OF YOU – those working in our medical, education, local business and social communities, and in our homes – for helping to maintain and sustain life and deliver essential services. Thank you all for doing your part, big or small, to protect our greater good.
Please join me in a thoughtful and caring journey into our shared future.
Sincerely, Kevin Thomas
