One of the most anticipated experiences opening this year is Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, an all-new land opening May 31 at Disneyland® Resort in California, and August 29 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® in Florida. Guests will be transported to a galaxy far, far away to the long-forgotten planet Batuu, home to Black Spire Outpost — a port infamously known to smugglers, traders and adventurers who wish to avoid any unnecessary entanglements with the First Order.
The new land will feature two signature attractions – Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run, a thrilling interactive smuggling mission where guests are in control of the most famous ship in the galaxy, and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, putting guests in the middle of a climactic battle between the Resistance and the First Order...and Kylo Ren himself.

Flying into the Wizarding World of Harry PotterTM on June 13, Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure will take you beyond the grounds of Hogwarts Castle to the Forbidden Forest on a thrilling new
roller coaster ride. Begin your journey by participating in a real-life Care of Magical Creatures class, then hop aboard Hagrid’s enchanted motorbike or sit in the sidecar, like Harry did once; each providing a different rider’s experience. From there, you’ll embark on an adventure to the Forbidden Forest, encountering some of your favorite beastly
friends, like Fluffy the three-headed dog, Cornish Pixies, and a new creature never seen before on film.

This summer, Reese’s
Xtreme Cup Challenge
gets a makeover and
will reopen as Reese’s
Cupfusion, an interactive
dark ride adventure where
guests are assigned the
mission of protecting the candy factory from Mint the Merciless and the League of Misfit Candy, while scoring points and making sure that the world is never deprived of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. Reese’s Cupfusion opens May 3.

The next generation of genetically modified creatures are preparing to terrorize visitors. The Jurassic Park water ride is getting a reboot and will open as Jurassic World – The Ride, based on the blockbuster film franchise and packed with new fan-favorite prehistoric creatures. Life found a way — Jurassic World – The Ride opens this summer.

Swing into action with the world’s most iconic female superhero, Wonder Woman,
on Six Flags Great Adventure’s newest ride opening in 2019. Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth, an open-air swing, is the world’s tallest pendulum ride, standing over the park at 17 stories tall and spinning 40 riders at speeds up to 75 miles per hour.

Rising from the ashes of the Apocalypse
