A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO OUR MEMBERS AND STAFF
The COVID-19 pandemic has shaken our community in unprecedented ways, and
I would like to thank all of our members for your continued support. At the time of this writing, states across the nation are beginning to reopen businesses one step at a time, with each state going at their own pace. Pennsylvania is no different, as individual counties are being given the go ahead to reopen.
Before I talk about the future, I want to thank our many dedicated employees who continued to work when permitted to serve our members. I am also pleased to tell you that our extensive road service provider network continued to service our members 24/7. Meanwhile, while our offices were closed due to the Governor’s orders, our insurance agents and member service counselors were working tirelessly via telephone to make sure we were there to service your needs as best we could during these difficult times. Finally, our travel agents faced a barrage of travel reservation changes and cancellations in volumes never seen before. Many incredible vacations had to be postponed or cancelled months, weeks, or even days before their travel date due to the COVID-19 pandemic; not much fun for you or your travel agent. But many incredible travel opportunities are just around the corner, and our trusted travel professionals are ready to assist you with the latest travel updates, deals, and trends. I know that whenever you are ready to
start planning your next dream vacation, our travel agents will be there for you!
When we reopen our offices, you will notice that we implemented a number of changes to ensure the safety and health of both our members and employees by following CDC and other government guidelines and maintaining social distancing. Initially, many of our offices will have reduced or modified hours to accommodate these guidelines. Some of our services might only be available online or by telephone. Other services at our offices may be offered by appointment only. To make the most of your next visit to any AAA Southern Pennsylvania office, please first visit our website at AAA.com for important information on services available as we move through the phases necessary to fully reopen our offices. And rest assured, our roadside assistance will always be available for you 24/7.
Thank you again for your membership. We look forward to helping you take advantage of the many benefits of a AAA membership. Take care and stay healthy!
