America’s grand collection of national parks offers visitors a world of amazing scenic wonders created by Mother Nature – vast canyon lands, rushing rivers and waterfalls, towering mountains and grasslands that are the romping grounds for wildlife, nature lovers and photographers alike.
In Bryce Canyon National Park, situated in the southwestern corner of Utah, take in spectacular views offered by giant natural amphitheaters that bring an explosion of color – red, orange and white – to the scene. The forests and meadows of Bryce Canyon provide habitats for diverse animal life, from birds and small mammals to foxes, mule deer, bobcats, black bears and even mountain lions.

At nearby Zion National Park, the highlight is an expansive canyon, which offers excellent hiking opportunities. Among the spectacular features of this park are its unique natural rock arches.
Arizona’s Grand Canyon needs no introduction, of course. One of the seven natural wonders of the world, this 190-mile-long, 10-mile-wide and one-mile-deep canyon was carved out of the Kaibab Plateau by the mighty Colorado River over the course of 10 million years.
The Grand Canyon offers mesmerizing scenery in a kaleidoscope of hues with its serene North Rim and breathtaking South Rim. It’s easy to be hypnotized by the canyon’s grandeur, evident in its towering rock formations, lush pine forests, isolated shallow lakes and expansive flowering meadows.
Yellowstone and Grand Teton national parks are a cherished part of Wyoming’s rich tapestry. With 2,219,789 acres of sprawling wilderness to explore, Yellowstone stands as one of North America’s greatest assets – home to an astonishing array of wildlife including bears, wolves, buffalo, elk, antelope and more. The iconic Old Faithful, Lower Falls and Yellowstone Lake are familiar in paintings and photographs but seeing them in person is a humbling experience. In Grand Teton National Park, enjoy spectacular views of the Grand Teton mountains, which rise as high as 13,770 feet above sea level.
While exploring America’s national parks, be sure to also include a visit to Mount Rushmore National Memorial. The memorial is visited by nearly three million people each
year that come to marvel at the majestic beauty of the Black Hills of South Dakota and learn about the birth, growth, development and preservation of this area.
