Imagine sharing photos of these images from your next autumn vacation:
• A carpet of bright yellow leaves spread across a New England town square
• Seascapes populated with migrating puffins
• Neon red and orange foliage drifting down from the heavens and skittering across a
winding path in Quebec
• Steaming hot beverages served on the private balcony of your cruise ship stateroom
Yes, each autumn releases its myriad expressions of the season as if they are colorful drops from a rainbow spread across New England and Eastern Canada. You can bring these images to life on a delightful cruise vacation featuring a taste of the French joie de vivre in Montreal followed by a voyage to the seascapes of Maritime Canada and Coastal New England, with inviting harbors all along the way.
Join AAA Central Penn on our “Fall Medley” cruise vacation, September 29 - October 12, 2016, featuring an Eastern Canada and New England route aboard Oceania Cruises’ intimate, mid-size premium ship Regatta. Hosting a maximum of just 684 guests and boasting a staff of 400, Regatta ensures personalized service every step of the way.
Commencing in Central Pennsylvania on a deluxe motorcoach ride across the border to Canada, AAA’s
vacation package provides a
pre-cruise one-night stay in
Montreal at the Sofitel Hotel.
The next day, you board
Regatta and set sail from
Montreal on a delightful
12-day cruise. Your first port of call is Quebec City, famous for its Old Town, which authentically exudes its European character. Then, it is onward to Saguenay, Quebec, where you can visit Saguenay National Park and its dramatic fjord. Your next stop is Havre-Saint Pierre, Quebec, situated on the north shore of the
Gulf of St. Lawrence. This harbor town is surrounded by a spectacular seascape of monolithic islands with towering cliffs and hidden grottoes, which are the homes of marine birds, including puffins.
Continue on to Corner Brook, Newfoundland;
England’s premier summer resort adjacent to Acadia National Park and Cadillac Mountain. Then, it is on to the vibrant waterfront of Portland, Maine, where you can visit the thriving Arts District and the Portland Museum of Art, or picnic and relax in the serene Eastern Promenade Park with its views of Casco Bay and sail boats gliding by. While in Boston, you have the opportunity to follow the Freedom Trail that links more than a dozen historic sites throughout the old town area to trace Boston’s role during the American Revolution.
Your next-to-last port of call is Newport, Rhode Island, famous for its Gilded Age mansions, many of which are open for tours. For a different view of these palatial summer homes, take a stroll along the scenic seaside Cliff Walk. This town’s rocky shoreline is dotted also with lighthouses, including the granite Castle Hill. With bitter-sweet farewells, you will disembark Regatta in New York City for the return ride home aboard a deluxe motorcoach.
As your floating luxury hotel for 12 days, Oceania Cruise’s Regatta has an onboard ambiance that is “country club casual,” and thus, a tuxedo or gown
is never required attire. Regatta’s medium size provides personalized service but doesn’t diminish the variety of onboard activities available to enjoy.
Open seating is featured in all of Regatta’s restaurants; you can dine where, when and with whom you please at no additional charge. Oceania Cruises is widely recognized as having the finest cuisine at sea. Master Chef Jacques Pepin, Executive Culinary Director for Oceania Cruises, inspires the culinary team to create gastronomic masterpieces.
