Weaver’s Body Shop – Hanover to be Recognized as the #1 ‘2015 Top Shop’ – the First Body Shop in the AAR Program to Receive this Recognition
Weaver’s Body Shop’s Hanover, PA location was recently recognized as the 2015 “Top Shop” of the year with a score of 99.89% out of 100% “Totally Satisfied” on 204 returned customer satisfaction cards. They were the first auto body shop out of those in the Approved Auto Repair (AAR) and Approved Auto Body (AAB) program to place in one of the top three positions in the 5 years of the “Top Shop” program. Also of note, they were one of only nine auto repair facilities out of 76 in AAA Central Penn’s AAR program to meet both requirements
to be a “Top Shop” qualifying program. To qualify this year, shops needed to have had returned a monthly average of seven completed returned AAR CSI survey cards and score at least 98% “Totally Satisfied” on the returned cards.
Weaver’s Body Shop’s two facilities are family owned and operated auto body and auto repair facilities in Hanover and Gettysburg that have
the ability to perform state-of-the-art auto body and auto mechanical repairs, performed by ASE and ICAR certified repair technicians. They were founded in 1957 in a small garage with just a few hand tools by the current owners' parents, Patricia and Charles Weaver, who grew the business over the next 31 years. In 1986, the current owners Matt and Mike Weaver purchased the business from their parents and started moving it to the next level of operation, adding 10 more work
bays and a paint booth. The business flourished and in 1998 the brothers moved to their current location on Hanover Road. Here they built a 30-bay body shop with two state-of-the-art paint booths.
Vice President Matt Weaver comments, “This location has allowed us to expand and serve the community with a high level of technology. In fact, we now use PPG Envirobase Waterborne paint;
this paint reduces the harmful chemicals that are released into the air when spraying paint and helps improves air quality, which helps to contribute to
a healthier work environment.”
The brothers believe that making sure they have happy employees ensures that they have happy customers that get a quality repair job and excellent customer service. They offer collision repair, auto painting, auto mechanical repairs, paintless dent repair, spray in truck bed liners, detailing, and upholstery repair. Matt Weaver

I-Car Gold, GM, and ASE certified in the auto body and repair fields. Matt’s brother, Mike, has been in the collision repair field for 45 years and
is PPG certified in estimating and business management.
The Weavers expanded the business again in 2009 when they opened an additional 12-bay operation with state-of-the-art facilities in Gettysburg, PA, alongside another one of our AAR facilities, Renn Kirby Chevrolet-Buick. If you
