– including various sections of original Route 66 – from Chicago to Los Angeles, you witness the history and cultural diversity of the many faces and facets of America. Stops along the way are many and include the St. Louis Arch, the Ozarks, Branson, Oklahoma City, National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum, Texas Panhandle and Amarillo. Continue to Cadillac Ranch and Tucumcari, then to Albuquerque for evening and daytime activities at its famous Balloon Fiesta. Cross into Arizona for the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest, followed by Flagstaff and the Grand Canyon National Park. The town of Kingman has kept the culture of Route 66 alive. Las Vegas’ glitter gulch glows bright before you see the end of Route 66 at Santa Monica on the Pacific Coast.
