“Savor the Journey” by land and sea with Holland America Line. Touring begins in Fairbanks with a cruise on the Chena and Tanana rivers, then it’s on to Denali National Park for a two-night stay and a guided wilderness and wildlife tour. Ride aboard a deluxe dome railcar on the McKinley Explorer train to Anchorage for a visit and overnight stay before taking the “Cruisetrain” to Seward to board Holland America’s ms Westerdam. Cruise the Gulf of Alaska to glorious Glacier Bay. Your first port is Haines, on America’s longest fjord, then sail to the state capital
of Juneau, followed by Ketchikan – famous for the Misty Fjords, before scenic cruising along the Inside Passage to Vancouver for an overnight stay before returning home.

Fly to Phoenix and travel to the red rocks of Sedona and along the base of towering cliffs of Oak Creek Canyon.
A geological tour of the Grand Canyon is followed by
a stay in the wide-open expanse of Monument Valley,
the site of many movie westerns and native lands of the Navajo. Explore pueblo cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde and view sandstone’s many colors at Arches National Park. Ride along the Million Dollar Highway past alpine peaks and lakes to Silverton, where you can choose to take a steam train ride to Durango. Visit ancient, but inhabited Taos Pueblo and wind through the Sangre de Cristo Mountains to Santa Fe, renowned for its Southwestern art, architecture and cuisine.
Railways of Southern England
September 11 – 20, 2019
You are invited to ride the rails of Britain’s heritage railways with the Friends of the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania. Gleaming steam locomotives puff and chuff along historic routes for your view of verdant countryside and seaside scenes. Tours feature premier collections of railway museums, castles, and the elegant Georgian city of Bath. A day on the Isle of Wight includes a visit at Queen Victoria’s Osborne House and a ride on the island’s steam railway. An optional London extension from September
20 – 23 provides independent time and visits at the
Transit Museum, Postal Museum’s underground Mail Ride, majestic St. Pancras Railway Station, and even a day trip by rail to tour the superb National Railway Museum in York.

Our deluxe motor coach whisks you to Charlotte, North Carolina, for an overnight stay before continuing to Georgia the next day. Visit sites associated with "Gone With The Wind," including the Road to Tara Museum, author Margaret Mitchell’s house and museum, and Stately Oak Plantation. On to New Orleans for a guided tour of the Garden District, time in the French Quarter, a visit at Mardi Gras World to see floats, and a dinner jazz cruise on a steamboat. Tour the plantation mansions of Nottaway and Oak Alley. A Cajun lunch is followed by a narrated boat ride to see wildlife and hear tales of the Louisiana swamplands. A cooking demonstration and dinner at the New Orleans School of Cooking is featured. On to Alabama’s Arlington Antebellum Home & Gardens and then to Tennessee for Dolly Parton’s Smoky Mountain Adventure Dinner Show before crossing the Mason-Dixon Line for home.

Head west to Holland, Michigan, on a tour that features colorful attractions all along the way, beginning with the Toledo Museum of Art. Travel on to Michigan’s Holland
for a two-night stay with a guided tour of the amazing Tulip Festival and visit at Dutch Town. Tour the Blue
Delft Factory, the Dutch Marketplaats with Delft wares, Dutch lace and Dutch foods. See the Klompen Dancers in wooden shoes and attend The Muziekgroep Parade for its many bands and floats. Visit the working Dutch Windmill & Gardens and take a dune schooner ride on the sand dunes of Lake Michigan. A farewell dinner at the Bavarian Inn in Frankenmuth, Michigan, rounds out this springtime tour.
