Glacier national Park: nature’s Masterpiece August 16 – 22, 2018
Washington state welcomes you to Spokane; then Idaho beckons with the Sierra Silver mine tour in historic Wallace. Move on to Montana to tour the Forest Service Smokejumpers Base near Missoula. A scenic raft float trip through canyons of the Flathead River take you to Glacier National Park. Travel by restored vintage red touring cars from McDonald Valley via
the spectacular Going-to-the-Sun Road to cross the Continental Divide at Logan Pass. Cruise on Lake McDonald aboard a historic vessel. Back in Idaho, a gondola ride takes you to the top of Silver Mountain, and there’s time to enjoy delightful Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Following a quick flight from Harrisburg to Boston, your days of guided touring begin along the city’s Freedom Trail, then visits in Lexington and Concord. Travel west along the picturesque Mohawk Trail
to the Berkshires and Williamstown. Jump up to
Vermont for Quechee Gorge, Woodstock and Stowe (for tastes of Ben & Jerry’s ice creams). Weave into New Hampshire’s White Mountains to view Mount Washington and roll along the Kancamagus Scenic Byway, renowned for its vibrant autumn colors. Cross into Maine and head “Down East” to Bar Harbor for
a lobster dinner on Mount Desert Island. Circle up Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Travel south along Maine’s rocky coastline, peppered with lighthouses, to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, before the next day’s flight from Boston back to Harrisburg.
