AAA’s Mobile and
time you need it. With the summer driving season coming soon, and with all of us wanting to get out of winter hibernation and go travel, now is the time to have your battery checked – and if it fails, replaced.
Well, AAA has a service that can help you out. AAA’s Mobile Battery service can come out and test your battery, charging,
and starting system. If your battery fails the test, most vehicle batteries can be replaced at your home or place of work by the mobile service. Along with this service, AAA is expanding the battery program to fixed-site repair facilities that are part of the AAA Approved Auto Repair program, and now include at least six facilities including four K&W Tires Stores in Adams and Lancaster counties, and Joe Mays Garage and Frontier Auto Sales in Lebanon County. Additional repair facilities are being evaluated and will be added as soon as they are ready.
These repair facilities carry the same quality AAA batteries as the mobile service that feature a six-year warranty against defects, with the first three years being 100% completely covered and three- year partial coverage after that. So see your AAA battery provider for details of the warranty. Additionally, these AAR repair facilities can repair electrical issues that may be causing the battery to fail. AAR facilities are inspected annually and offer various discounts
on repairs to AAA members. Check the AAA Now! AAR directory for those facilities carrying AAA batteries; look for the red battery symbols or call 1-800-AAA-HELP for battery service.
