I would like to take this opportunity to thank Philip Thompson for his past 18 years of service
as a Director of the Board, and in particular for
his past two years as Chairman of the Board. His leadership and insight will be missed.
I would also like to welcome our new Chairman of the Board, Jessica Meyers. As a
Hotel Hershey, which has received the Four Diamond rating since 1980, and the Inn at Leola Village, which has received the Four Diamond rating since 2003.
The two restaurants are The Circular at The Hotel Hershey (holding a Four Diamond rating since 1988) and, for the second year, TE’ at the Inn at Leola Village. Congratulations to these fine establishments that have met the stringent requirements to attain the Four Diamond rating. Read more about this in the next edition of AAA Now!

In January of this year, I booked a family vacation
through AAA at Beaches Resort in the Turks & Caicos. The afternoon of the day before our departure I got
a call from my daughter’s school saying she had a fever and needed to be picked up. Suddenly I saw my relaxing and warm vacation fading away before my eyes! Fortunately, due to the good advice (buy trip insurance!) and planning with our AAA Central Penn travel agent, we were able to rebook our trip in a matter of hours and leave only three days later than originally planned. We had a wonderful vacation, full of incredible memories, thanks in large part to AAA.
I am happy to be planning my May 2016 Chairman’s Trip, Castles Along the Rhine, a river cruise from Amsterdam to Basel with a one-night pre-cruise
hotel stay in Amsterdam. I would like to invite you to join my husband and me on this memory-making, breathtaking adventure. For more information, please turn to page 12.
