Québécois are known for their joy of life, and nowhere is that more evident than at the annual Québec Winter Carnival. The carnival, first held in 1894, is today the largest winter festival
in the Western Hemisphere. Join AAA as we head north for a bit of winter fun on a grand scale, and to meet Bonhomme, the official ambassador of the festivities and castle lord of
the Ice Palace – the Hôtel de Glace. Bonhomme is a seven- foot tall, four-hundred-pound snowman, sporting attire that gives acknowledgment to the French-Canadian style. After visiting the Ice Palace, free time will be provided to explore
the extensive Winter Carnival at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll choose to enjoy the colorful performances of the night parade, the numerous light displays, and ice sculptures.
