On February 8,1907, the Motor Club of Harrisburg was formed “with the sole purpose to be of assistance to its members.” At its inception, the club covered Dauphin, Cumberland and Perry counties and had 80 members. Your club territory now includes

There is a feeling in the air hinting that fall is on the
way – September 22 to be exact. Another sure sign of the season are the big yellow school buses carrying our students to and from school. There will be first-time walkers and bikers, too.
At crossing spots, you will see school patrollers, diligently helping students across the street. In 1928
buses picking up and discharging students, mindful of the walkers and bikers as they proceed to and from school, and ask you to be aware of our safety patrollers as they perform their important duties. We thank them for their service.
In an effort to maintain the highest level of service for our members, we are in the process of reaching out to each of you to ascertain that the information within our systems is current and correct. This process is already underway, so when you visit one of our offices or reach our Contact Center, you will be asked to verify that we have your up-to-date information. We are also reaching out to our members individually via telephone
for those who have not visited us lately. Be assured that no sensitive data is a part of this process. We thank you in advance for helping us with this endeavor.

staff members over the years, were school safety patrollers; we took our responsibility seriously, as do the boys and girls who currently are involved
in this program. Our club proudly sponsors and equips boys and girls from 27 schools in our territory who diligently perform their duty to safely assist their fellow students to and from school.
