Luxury supreme has arrived at Walt Disney World® Resort. Not that it didn’t exist already, but Disney fans have long anticipated the new Riviera resort. This elegant
hotel is meant to be a vacation inside a vacation, as it is designed to capture the grace and charisma of Western Europe and the Mediterranean. There is something for everyone at Riviera, but let’s go over some of the highlights.
Any resort guest can stay in a variety of room options. While yes, this is a Disney Vacation Club Resort, it is open for non-DVC bookings as well. It is categorized as a Deluxe Villa Resort and is in the Epcot Resort area. Accommodations include deluxe studios, 1- to 3-bedroom grand villas and tower studios. Studio options are still as luxurious and are more cost-effective than villas, but they do offer less space. Villa options offer separate bedrooms, kitchens with stainless-steel appliances, washer, dryer and beautiful bathrooms complete with bubble-jet bathtubs. It’s really up to you to decide what your budget is and if staying at this resort is important to you, but staying here will be a splurge.
Foodies are welcome. Riviera is upping the food game
at Walt Disney World. While they already have several diamond-rated restaurants on property, Riviera offers a fine- dining experience with French- and Italian-themed cuisine. Topolino’s Terrace is on the pricey end, but the good news is that they do accept some of the dining plans. Breakfast includes entrees like quiche gruyere with house-made pancetta and spiced sausage hash. Yum. Plus, breakfast includes a meet-and-greet with Mickey and friends decked

out in artiste attire. Even if you are not booking a room at Riviera, you can still reserve a table and enjoy the delicious food! Tip: We hear that Riviera also has a pool bar that has a Monte Cristo sandwich that rivals that of the Disneyland classic found at the Blue Bayou in New Orleans Square.
A stay here comes with access to the Disney Skyliner.
The resort is just a short walk away from boarding a Gondola and offers transport to both Epcot and Hollywood Studios parks. There also are buses that provide access to other attractions and resorts.
Disney’s Riviera Resort offers a new and different experience for frequent park goers, as well as another option for people who enjoy luxury travel with high-quality service. Booking a room at this resort does include all the great benefits of staying on property, like access to the Disney Dining Plans, Magical Express transportation to and from
the Orlando airport and, of course, Extra Magic Hours at all four parks. But if you do decide to stay at Riviera, make sure you leave plenty of time to enjoy the atmosphere because it’s basically like spending a fancy week of summer in Monaco!
Know before you book: This property is serious first-class luxury, but keep in mind, if you’re looking for a luxurious experience, there are several other resorts on property that offer grandeur and might better accommodate your space requirement, location requests and budget for your stay
at Walt Disney World Resort. Ask your AAA Travel Agent about Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Jambo House and Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.
