TIP: Once your teen becomes a licensed driver, you may want to add them as an associate on your AAA membership. AAA membership follows the member, not the car. When you call us for roadside assistance, the member must be with the vehicle at the time of service.

Dare to Prepare Parent/Teen Workshop
If you’re like most parents, the thought of your teen becoming a driver is a scary one. AAA recommends starting early and taking your time. Extended time with a learner permit helps teens gain critical experience. Join us for our Dare to Prepare program. We will discuss:
• Importance of parental involvement
• Understanding the reasons why teens crash
• Understanding your state’s graduated driver licensing laws
• Identifying what to look for when choosing a vehicle for your teen
• Importance of a parent-teen driving agreement, and more!
Parents and non-licensed teens (15 and above) are welcome to join us at AAA Hudson Valley, 618 Delaware Ave., Albany, on Tuesday, April 2, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Pizza and beverages will be served.
• AAA Hudson Valley members with teen — free
• Non-members with teen — $5 each person
• Non-members for up to two parents with teen — $10
