After much planning and anticipation, my family and I had the opportunity to visit Walt Disney World Resort on the day of Magic Kingdom park’s 50th anniversary, Oct. 1, 2021. As many already know, the park opened in 1971 with Roy O. Disney dedicating the park to his brother, Walt, who had passed away about five years before his “Florida Project” had been ready to welcome guests.
