from the unique boutique shops and retailers in Troy? Check off everyone on your list with a variety of gifts you can’t find anywhere else.
Take note of all the fully decorated storefronts you’ll find throughout the stroll. An upwards of 20 different businesses take part in the annual Victorian Stroll storefront decorating contest. Each participating business offers up its unique spin on the theme of the decorating contest and top prizes are awarded to the displays that receive the most votes online.
After all that walking, you’re sure to work up an appetite at some point throughout the day. You’re in luck as Troy has no shortage of delicious, top-rated dining options for you to choose from. No matter what you’re craving, you’re sure to find a memorable meal
in Troy during the stroll. Take your pick of any of the restaurants, cafes or food vendors in the downtown footprint, or grab a bite from the stroll’s popular outdoor food court located near Monument Square.
No matter where you choose to eat, be sure to cap off your day by visiting Monument Square. At 5 p.m., the annual tree lighting will take place. Before that, there will be a special performance by the Troy High Choir.
Get into the spirit leading up to the stroll. From Dec. 5-8, don’t miss your chance to attend the 63rd Annual Greens Show presented by the Historic Rensselaer County at
the Hart Cluett Museum and the Van Rensselaer Garden Club. This Troy holiday tradition transforms 12 rooms of the 1827 Federal-style Hart-Cluett House into a green winter wonderland.

Attendees of all ages are encouraged to come out and enjoy the 37th Annual Troy Victorian Stroll. As always, there is no cost of admission for this full day of holiday fun. The Victorian Stroll is proudly presented by the Rensselaer County Regional Chamber of Commerce.
