School Programs. We teach traffic safety to children from pre-K through 12th grade. Otto the Auto is our Traffic Safety Mascot and is our automated robotic car that helps teach traffic safety messages to pre-K to 2nd grade. We have a Traffic Safety Educator who can present on any traffic safety-related topic for 3rd grade and above. We also hold a Traffic Safety Poster Program annually (see right).
Teen Driving Safety. Our Traffic Safety Educator holds an annual “Dare to Prepare” Parent-Teen Workshop to help educate parents and teens what to expect in the learning-to-drive process. This class is held in early spring. Registration is required.
Five-Hour Pre-licensing Classes. AAA Hudson Valley provides the five-hour Pre-licensing Class that is DMV certified to help your permit holder advance to the road test phase. Registration is required.
Defensive Driving Classes. Receive a 10-percent reduction off the base rate of collision & liability insurance. Refresh your driving skills. Registration is required.
CarFit. This is an educational program for mature drivers to go over how well they “fit” their vehicles. A proper fit in one’s car can reduce injuries as well as the likelihood of a crash through better visibility. By appointment only.
