in January. As part of our 10-year wedding
anniversary celebration, my husband and
I wanted to complete one of our "bucket list"
items, so we decided to run a marathon! After
careful consideration, we chose the Walt Disney
World marathon as our race, and the training
began!
An important part of our preparation was
ensuring that all of the details of our trip were well-organized, FUN!,
and runner-friendly. You made that part of our marathon prep easy, so
all we needed to worry about was running!
We LOVED the Beach Club Resort, and will definitely stay there again.
The sand-bottom pool was so relaxing for our pre-marathon days, and felt
wonderful on our sore feet after the race! The location of the resort was
also ideal ­ we ran right by our room during the final 2 miles of the race,
and then were able to walk to Epcot that night to enjoy a few rides and
some fantastic food.
