It’s hard to believe that another year has passed. As we look into 2018, winter is the first season that we need to navigate through. If you need emergency road service, you can obtain it through AAA’s app, which provides us with your location, even
if you are not sure. The AAA app is a free download. This issue of AAA Now! contains
information on the rules pertaining to Emergency Road Service on page 19, which is helpful in answering questions you might have.
Wintertime can be difficult on your vehicle’s battery, so if your battery is starting to fail, AAA can come out and jump start it, as well as test it to see if it needs to be replaced. We will even install a new battery, if needed, which can be handy if you are in a rush! If your auto needs additional maintenance, visit a local AAA Approved Auto Repair location. AAA members receive a great warranty on the work completed, along with a discount.
If you’re dreaming of warmer weather, be sure to visit the AAA Northampton County office on January 20, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon, to attend the Talk to the Experts Event. This
If you are looking for ways to save money in the new year, stop by the office to obtain an insurance quote for your auto and home. Or checkout the many local merchants that offer AAA members a discount simply by showing their AAA membership card.
Even though the holidays are over, you can still purchase discounted gift cards at the AAA Northampton County office and use them for yourself. Some restaurants, such as TGI Fridays and Texas Roadhouse, offer members a dining discount, along with a gift card that can be purchased at the AAA Northampton County office, offering members extra value. If you are age 55 or older, be sure to sign up for the Roadwise courses offered at the AAA Northampton County office. This course provides Pennsylvania residents with a discount on their auto insurance, and the class is free for AAA Northampton County members. For a list of classes, see page 21 for more information.
