AAA Travel – Always Here for You
 James Phelps President & CEO
We’ve all seen the impact the COVID-19 pandemic has had on businesses both locally and nationally. From shutdowns to layoffs to businesses forced to shut their doors permanently. The economic effect has been felt far and wide.
One business sector that was impacted particularly hard is the travel industry. Cruise lines had to cease operations, foreign countries closed
client has different needs.
As members continue to inquire about travel plans, it
is important to note that, like many other industries, the travel industry and AAA’s travel vendors are dealing with reduced staffing levels and, oftentimes, our travel agents experience long wait times on hold to get answers to questions on behalf of our members. With this in mind, and out of respect for your time, we strongly encourage you to make an appointment to meet with one of our travel professionals. AAA Northway offers appointments in
their borders, states across the nation imposed travel restrictions and Americans were quarantining to keep their families healthy and safe. An entire sector of the economy came to a halt.
More than 94% of our travel agency customers gave us a 5 out of 5 satisfaction rating and we remain above that mark today.
person, over the phone and now virtually via the internet from the comfort of your home. Having an appointment will ensure our agent provides the best possible experience for you as you navigate the travel planning process. Of course, the option to walk into any of
our offices and request assistance remains. However, please understand unusually long wait times our travel agents are experiencing may occur.
As a full-service travel agency, AAA
Northway also felt the impact of this difficult
situation. During this time, as our branch
offices were closed, the Club was able to keep
its entire staff of dedicated, professional travel
agents working remotely to assist members with changing or canceling previously booked travel plans that were impacted by the pandemic. This was no small task given the logistics of now working from home and the sheer volume of changes and cancellations that took place. Our travel professionals were up to the task and handled all requests with the highest level of customer service and attention to every possible detail. More than 94% of our travel agency customers gave us a 5 out of 5 satisfaction rating and we remain above that mark today.
To make an appointment for your next travel experience, whether it’s a family vacation,
honeymoon, cruise or business trip, contact your local AAA Northway branch office at 877-222-8283 or visit AAA. com/Travel. We look forward to being of service to you and making your trip planning experience as enjoyable as possible. Stay well and safe travels!

Earlier this year, as the pandemic seemed to be easing
it appeared that the travel business was primed for a triumphant comeback. Record numbers of road travelers hit the road for the Fourth of July holiday and air bookings were seeing a return to a more normal level. AAA Northway began to see an increase in travel requests from our members. Now, with the reemergence of the virus, the state of the travel industry remains in flux. That said, our travel professionals remain steadfast in their mission to provide exceptional customer service understanding that each and every travel
