Summer is here! It is time to have some well-deserved fun or get some household chores completed. Either way, AAA Schuylkill County wants to help you save some money while doing it.
AAA members looking to find some excitement at amusement parks should be sure to visit the AAA office before purchasing tickets to take advantage of our member discounts. We currently offer discounted tickets for Knoebel's, Hershey, Dorney and Sesame Place, as well as other great amusement parks and zoos. Even on a rainy day there are many activities to be done indoors while still saving money with your AAA membership. You can purchase discounted tickets in our office for The Crayola Experi- ence, The Franklin Institute and the DaVinci Science Center. You can also get discounted tickets for Regal Cinemas and AMC Theatres that can be purchased at AAA.
If you are looking to get some chores or decorating done around the house, be sure to take advantage of AAA member discounts at our local Discounts & Rewards partners, such as Hadesty's Ace Hardware and Martin's Farm House. Doing some work in the ga- rage this summer? Go to 12 Volt Dave's Audio, A & A Auto Parts (Pottsville) and Moyer's Car Care Center for member savings.
After the excitement of the day or after getting your chores completed, enjoy some dinner while still taking advantage of your AAA discounts at Pizza Hut, Hoss's Steak & Sea House, Tony's Restaurant or Russo's Pizzeria and Italian Restaurant – just to name a few. Last, but not least, end the day with a treat and more savings at Dairy Queen (Pottsville) or
Rita's Italian Ice (Pottsville and Schuylkill Haven).
AAA members taking a road trip or going on vacation this summer should present

AAA Schuylkill County offers a 4-hour refresher course.
In order to qualify for this course, you must be 55 or older and have taken the 8-hour Roadwise Driver Course with AAA Schuylkill County within the past three years. AAA Schuylkill County also will be offering the 8-hour Roadwise Driver Course for those who have not taken the Mature Driver Course in the past three years.
The course is free for AAA Schuylkill County members, $10 for members of another AAA club and $30 for nonmembers. For more information call (610) 258-2371.
