TIRES
At least 83% of Americans do not know how to property inflate their tires, according to the Rubber Manufacturers Association. Inspect your tires monthly, including the spare. Focus on correct tire pressures and safe tread depth.
BATTERY
Most car batteries have a 3- to 5-year service life, depending on local climate and vehicle usage patterns. At every oil change check the battery cables and clean the terminals if corrosion build-up occurs.
WIPER BLADES/WASHER FLUID
A windshield washer fluid reservoir and wiper blades should be checked monthly. Top off the reservoir with solution and replace damaged or worn wiper blades to avoid compromising vision and safety.
