CHRISTMAS IN PITTSBURGH

Pittsburgh knows how to get dressed up for Christmas. We begin our Pittsburgh experience
by visiting PPG Place Wintergarden. See the 16 “Santas of the World,” each robed in traditional apparel, and a huge Christmas tree. Then we walk a short distance to see the European Christmas Market in downtown Pittsburgh. Afterward, we continue to Phipps Conservatory, where lunch is included. We’ll have time to peruse its beautiful Winter Flower Show as well as the gift shop. A significant highlight of this tour will be an evening Heinz Chapel Choir concert inside the ornate Heinz Chapel adjacent to the University of Pittsburgh. One of the themes of this concert will be Christmas music. A delicious dinner is included at the Grand Concourse Restaurant in the beautifully restored former Pittsburgh train station.

CLIFTON MILL CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

We begin our tour with a comfortable motorcoach ride down to Columbus for an included tour of
the Ohio Statehouse. Afterward, we have included lunch at Schmidt’s Restaurant in German Village. It serves excellent German food, buffet style. We will visit the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens with gardens to view indoor and very nice decorating for Christmas. This top-rated tour also features fabulous Christmas lights at a unique venue called Clifton Mill. Historic Clifton Mill is one of the largest water-powered grist mills still in existence. With more than two million lights, this is a sight to behold. There is the gorgeous backdrop of the Little Miami River with lights covering the entire Clifton Mill building, the Little Miami River banks, a historic 90-foot covered bridge and more. Clifton Mill is in Clifton, Ohio, which is 9 miles south of Springfield. There is a synchronized light show set to music along with a large miniature village and Nativity. The Santa Claus museum onsite features more than 3,000 Santas and Santa memorabilia. This tour will offer great memories for the entire family.

NEW YORK CITY CHRISTMAS
Wednesday, Dec. 9 – Saturday, Dec. 12, 2020
This deluxe motor coach tour is chock-full of fun for the entire family with orchestra seats already reserved at Radio City Music Hall for its Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. Orchestra seats also are included to another Broadway musical to be announced soon. We will stay at Hotel Edison all three nights, just one block from Times Square and a few blocks from Rockefeller Center, where we will see its famous Christmas tree and ice skating rink. Other highlights of this tour include a visit to St. Patrick’s Cathedral, a tour
of the Apollo Theater in Harlem, a visit to New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx to see its beautiful indoor gardens and the amazing Holiday Train Show featuring dozen of model trains traversing a quarter-mile of track laid indoors amongst 140 scaled iconic buildings. There will be time for shopping at New York City’s finest stores, including Tiffany’s, Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale’s and many more! A private breakfast and fashion show for our group has been arranged at Macy’s. We also will visit the Empire State Building. Six meals are included (3 breakfasts, 2 lunches and
1 dinner). A deposit of $100 per person is required to reserve your space.
