CSAA Insurance Group Ranked
No. 1 in Nationwide Survey of
Auto Carriers
CSAA Insurance Group was named the best auto insurance company for 2016 in Insure.com‘s annual Best Insurance Company survey.
Insure.com is a leading online insurance resource where consumers can learn more about home, auto, health and life insurance, compare rates, and use tools to help make insurance decisions. Their Best Insurance Company survey is based on customer satisfaction ratings for 20 leading auto insurers. Respondents are asked to rate customer service, claims-handling, pricing, and whether they plan to renew their policy and would recommend their auto carrier to a friend.
CSAA IG’s score of 90.4 out of 100 put us ahead of last year’s winner, USAA (87.5 points), while State Farm landed in third place (87.2 points). ACSC ranked 20th with a score of 77.9, and ACG was not included in the survey.
SURVEY HIGHLIGHTS
The survey revealed several key findings, all of which contributed to our first place ranking:
• 94 percent of CSAA IG customers surveyed plan to renew their policies • 87 percent of CSAA IG customers surveyed have already recommended
us to a friend or plan to do so
• Our Customer Service performance is rated 5/5 stars • Our Claims Processing is rated 5/5 stars
• Our Value for Price is rated 4/5 stars
The survey found that our customers cite value and reputation as the top two reasons they choose to insure their vehicles with us. It also references our A.M. Best Financial Strength rating of A+, and lists the numerous coverage options and discounts available to current and prospective customers. Included below is a screenshot of the 2016 results, displaying our overall standing as the country’s Top Insurance Company for auto. The complete survey results and rankings for all 20 insurance companies are available on Insure.com.
To arrive at these results, Insure.com surveyed more than 4,000 insurance customers nationwide in June 2015, and only current customers of the insurers were surveyed. Respondents answered questions about their levels of satisfaction with their insurers, and each answer was assigned a point value. Points were then averaged and totaled for each company.
The companies with the three highest scores in each category earned Insure.com’s “People’s Choice Award.”
