elcome 2019! Resolutions sure that every touch point with our members and – they are those things we clients let them know we are not only listening but
steadfastly declare at the beginning of the year that we wish to achieve. Some are new, some have been repeated over the years and are here again for another “college try.” It’s a time for looking back over the year
responding. We are working hard to put processes in place to gather feedback so that you are assured that you have a remarkable AAA Central Penn experience in every way throughout our long-term relationship.
The new year will bring to a close my term as your chairman. It has truly been a pleasure and honor to serve among the Board, management and staff of this fine organization. I feel confident our members have a great deal to look forward to and expect in 2019 and in years to come.

to see what we have accomplished, wanted to, or failed to accomplish; we give ourselves a scorecard and hopefully have a smile on our faces when the scoring is completed. We strive to have positive and respectful relationships with family, friends and others, and the “Resolution List” goes on.
Here in your club, our top priority is to keep
our members safe – our daily “Resolution.” Our member-retention rate is over 90%. We would like that number to be 100%. The numbers indicate that we’re working hard to provide you, our members, with what you need and deserve. As we look forward to 2019 and beyond, we are making

U.S. and participating in educational and advocacy initiatives to increase awareness. AAA has no greater responsibility than to help safeguard everyone on the side of the road, whether it be stranded motorists, tow truck drivers or waste and recycling collection workers.
If you have a question or need clarification regarding the “Slow Down to Get Around” law or any traffic laws that are unclear to you, we are once again offering Traffic Law Update presentations as a service to our members. Our offices host members of The Center for Traffic Safety and South Central PA Highway Safety who answer members’ questions. Read more about this free informative service on page 7.

As safety continues to be our top priority, I recently attended a press event held in the Pennsylvania State Capitol rotunda to raise awareness of a new law. The law,“SlowDowntoGetAround,”becameeffective December 18 and protects Pennsylvanians who work along our roadways. Since 2007, AAA has been instrumental in passing Move Over laws across the
