    TM
Over 185 trails ensure great skiing, snowboarding and tubing while snowy woodlands provide perfect settings for dog sledding, horseback riding, snowmobiling, sleigh rides, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and ice skating.
Poconos skiing and snowboarding. Modest mountains. Deep snow. Short lines. Fast lifts. Impeccably groomed trails. Sound like a dream come true? It’s time to stop dreaming, shift your winter into high gear and plan your incredible Pocono skiing vacation where anyone can find their little slice of heaven. Detailed information can be found at PoconoSki.com.
With a history dating back to 1946, the Pocono Mountains welcomed the first commercial ski area in Pennsylvania and perfected the art of snowmaking. The Poconos have become a bonafide ski destination. Today, the Poconos have it all ... whether it be the corduroy groomed beginner slopes or the double black diamonds and terrain parks to test your skills. Get out and experience the exhilaration when your skis start sliding down a Pocono slope.
Snow Tubing in the Poconos
You’ve got to try snow tubing in the Pocono Mountains. It’s the easiest way to hit the slopes! Snow tubing in Pennsylvania requires no special skills or equipment and is appropriate for almost everyone. Just bundle up and head for the hills – don’t forget
your gloves and boots! All six Pocono ski resorts have snow tubing hills. Age and height requirements vary by location. Check them out in advance and you’re good to go. Fly solo or race a friend down the snowy mountain chutes. Most facilities offer tubes for
single riders. Some feature family-size
snow tubes. Gentle “magic carpet” lifts
make reaching the summit a cinch, so
you can slide down again and again.
Poconos Sleigh Rides
A Pocono Mountains horse-drawn sleigh ride
is one of winter's favorite pastimes. Take a ride through a winter wonderland of snow with Daisy Field Farm in the Poconos. Wrap up in a warm blanket next to your loved ones, inhale the fresh, pine-scented air, sit back and experience the spectacular scenery as you glide through the snow on a horse-drawn sleigh.
Mount Airy Casino and Resort
After you hit the slopes, come visit Mount Airy Casino and Resort for endless indoor fun! The beautiful, 65,144-square-foot gaming floor offers over 1,800 of the hottest slots. With 80 tables, Mount Airy Casino Resort offers a game for every type of player, from penny machines to high limits.
Snowmobiling Adventures
If you really want to get your heart racing, you must go snowmobiling at Hickory Run State Park. You can tread through miles and miles of winding, snow-covered trails. Promised Land State Park is another great destination for snowmobiling. You’ll find over 20 miles of impeccably groomed trails and an endless amount of fun!
Ice Skating
There are so many amazing places to go ice skating in the Poconos, from indoor and outdoor rinks to frozen streams and ponds. Some places to go ice skating outdoors are Tobyhanna State Park, Gouldsboro State Park, and Promised Land State Park. Take to the ice at your own risk as the thickness is not monitored!
Visit a Pocono Brewery
Pennsylvania is home to almost 300 breweries! If you’re a fan of delicious, craft brews, then this is the right place for you. Wallenpaupack Brewery or Barley Creek Brewery are just two that offer an excellent place to stay warm this winter with weekly events, fantastic beer, and tasty food.
Snowshoeing
As soon as you lay eyes on the sparkling white peaks, you’ll know: the Poconos are a magical place. One of the best ways to explore the beautiful region is on snowshoes! Traverse through miles of groomed trails at a nearby state park, it's a great way to spend time outdoors.
