National Teen Driver Safety Week is October 16-22, 2022
For 15 years in a row, National Teen Driver Safety Week has been dedicated to raising awareness and seeking solutions to prevent teen injuries and deaths on the road. AAA reminds caregivers
to talk to your young driver about the importance of being responsible behind the wheel. Five main rules to stay alive are:
• No cell phones while driving
• No alcohol or drugs
• No driving or riding without a seat belt • No extra passengers
• No speeding
NEW DRIVER TRAINING
• Dare-to-Prepare: Free interactive session to prepare new drivers and parents
ONE-DAY REFRESHER
Must complete the 8-hour class or a 4-hour refresher in the last three years.
