Holidays for Equinox
AAA Hudson Valley enjoys giving back to our community by raising money for different organizations in and around our local area throughout the year. In 2019, we chose to focus our winter holiday fundraising on Equinox. In addition to our staff’s generosity, AAA gave $5 for every gift membership purchased using our holiday promotion code. We were able to donate a total $5,000 to the organization. Plus, we collected new and used goods via donation boxes at our locations.
Helping Feed Our
Local Communities
Formerly known as Senior Services of Albany, Lifepath’s Meals on Wheels program provides more than 600
meals each day. During April and May, AAA drivers helped pack up and deliver meals to those in need Tuesdays through Fridays. In May, our flatbed tow truck was loaded weekly with pallets of food at the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York and delivered to Schenectady Inner City Ministry. This food was delivered to hundreds of families in need. Other assistance was offered to Trinity Alliance of the Capital Region. As part of our efforts, two of our drivers delivered more than 200 bags of food to Albany residents.
