Just a friendly reminder, daylight saving time begins March 14. This means that 2 a.m. becomes 3 a.m. Make sure to adjust your sleep cycle so that if you need to go anywhere in the morning, you can be alert. Having a consistent bedtime routine also can help your body wind down and prepare for a peaceful slumber. Sleep tight!

April 13 is the Dare to Prepare Parent/Teen Virtual Workshop
If you’re like most parents, the thought of your teenager becoming a driver is a scary one. AAA recommends starting early and taking your time. Extended time with a Learner’s Permit helps teens gain critical experience. Join us April 13 for our Dare to Prepare Parent/Teen Workshop via Zoom from 6 to 7:30 p.m. We’ll discuss:
• Importance of parental involvement
• Understanding the reasons why teens crash
• Understanding your state’s graduated driver licensing laws
• Identifying what to look for when choosing a vehicle for your teen
• Importance of parent-teen driving agreement and more.
Parents and non-licensed teenagers 15 and older are welcome. Visit AAA.com/TeenDriving for registration form to include your name, your full 16-digit membership number, phone number and the email address where you would like the Zoom link to be sent.
2021 Poster Contest

AAA Hudson Valley is happy to announce the return of our annual Traffic Safety Poster Contest! Modifications have been made to the program for 2021:
• No physical posters should be sent to AAA. Please submit a photo of the artwork to trafficsafety@aaahv.com
• Prize winners will still receive Visa Gift Cards, but no award night celebration is being planned.
• All participants will receive a token of appreciation.
• All submissions should be emailed by April 30, 2021.
