Passport Protocol
U.S. citizens are required to carry a valid U.S. passport when leaving or entering the country including trips to and from Canada and Mexico. AAA can help with the process by taking passport photos and providing applications.
Photos: Get your passport photos taken at any AAA Travel Store location.
Tip: Your photo will be taken against a white backdrop so it is best to wear dark colored clothing. No eyeglasses are to be worn.
Applications: AAA members can visit any AAA office to obtain first-time and renewal passport applications. We can also provide a list of government appointed offices that will accept first-time applications. For more information, visit Travel.State.Gov.
Processing times might vary, but 4-6 weeks is routine. If it is needed sooner, expedited service would be required. For more information, call 518-426-1000 or stop into any of our offices and speak with a representative.
