May is Bike Safety Month
To celebrate safely, there are several key things to remember. Check your bike over before you get on it. Make sure everything is intact and the tires are inflated properly. Always wear a properly fitting bike helmet, as well as bright-colored clothing and reflective materials. One seat equals one rider. Ride with traffic, stay to the far right
and ride single file. Watch for vehicles; especially cars backing out of driveways. Don’t assume vehicle drivers are watching for you. Obey traffic signs and lights and learn to use hand signals.
