MEMBER SERVICES
MEET AAA NORTHAMPTON COUNTY’S LIGHT DUTY SERVICE TECHNICIANS
Customer Service “Beyond the Doors”
By Vicki Bechtel, VP Operations
AAA Northampton County prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to our members, which by the way extends beyond the doors of our headquarters located at 3914 Hecktown Road.
If you’ve ever found yourself in the unfortunate situation of a vehicle breakdown, you most likely experienced the exceptional customer service “beyond the doors.” AAA Northampton County employs a team of four light duty service technicians who have been specifically trained
to address the following vehicle breakdowns. If your vehicle will not start due to a battery
related issue, our light duty service technicians are equipped to perform a diagnostic test, complimentary to AAA members, to determine the health of your battery. If your battery is in need of a replacement, our skilled technicians
can install a AAA branded battery at the point of breakdown to get you on the go.
Flat tire, no problem, our light duty service technicians are equipped with tools to remove the tire safely, install your working spare tire, inject fix-a-flat, or plug your tire to get you on the go.
As with any tire replacement, it is recommended that AAA members go to an Approved Auto Repair facility to have the replaced tire re-torqued and the repaired tire inspected for safety, if the member plans to drive on the spare or repaired tire for a long distance.
And, for those of us who have ever locked our keys in the car, our light duty service technicians have been trained to unlock your vehicle safely. Oh, and if you ever run out of fuel, our technicians will deliver enough fuel to get you to the nearest gas station.
