It is hard to believe that

another year has passed. As

we start a new year, I find that

January is a good month to

tackle various projects around

the house, including reviewing

various household expenses

and looking for ways to save.

AAA Northampton County

can help you achieve your

savings objectives. Members on average save over

$400 annually on auto insurance purchased through

AAA Northampton County.

AAA Northampton County has expanded its discount

gift card program to include Macy’s, Applebees and

Darden Restaurants. The gift certificates can be

combined with restaurant coupons to add to your

savings. In addition, Northampton County has over 100

locations that AAA members can simply show their AAA

card and receive a discount. Those discounts can easily

add up to more than what you pay in AAA dues annually.

AAA Northampton County has a large selection of

discounted attraction tickets available at the office,

including movie tickets. Never pay gate price again.

If you are looking for competitive rates on CD’s, be

sure to check out the savings program that AAA

Northampton County has with Discover Bank. AAA

members earn higher CD rates through AAA than if

they went to Discover Bank directly. AAA Northampton

County offers great rates on auto loans too.

The AAA credit card allows you to earn points for

everyday purchases and you earn double points for gas,

grocery, and pharmacy purchases and triple points for

purchases made at the AAA office. If you have to spend

the money, you might as well get something in return.

If your medical insurance plan does not cover

prescriptions, take your AAA Northampton County

membership card to your pharmacy and show them

the prescription savings information on the backside

of your membership card. Many prescriptions can be

discounted up to 20%. This includes prescriptions for

your pets.

When your car’s safety inspection and emissions test

are due, make sure you use your free state inspection

with paid emissions test coupon, valid at most area

AAA Approved Auto Repair locations.

If your car battery is more than three years old, it is

suggested you have it tested to ensure it is working

properly. Car batteries can often fail on cold mornings

because they do not have the power to start the

engine. AAA Northampton County offers a free battery

test for members; simply call our ERS department to

schedule a test.
