Motor Coach Tours are the Way to Go by Deborah Barga
Have you ever thought about taking a motor coach tour, but felt apprehensive? This isn’t uncommon, as many people who consider a group tour have some preconceived ideas about what it’s like. They fear it might not be right for them. But, before you make that determination for yourself, you may want to consider why these types of trips are so popular.
This year, AAA Shelby County will host nine local motor coach trips ranging from one day to one week. These trips are enjoyed by local residents of many age groups and include single travelers as well as couples. They allow you an opportunity to get
to know your fellow passengers, or perhaps simply enjoy the company of your traveling companion while not worrying about driving directions, traffic congestion or construction and
detours along the way.

by AAA Shelby County include a
step-on guide who is familiar with
the area and highly knowledgeable
about the local history. These tours
also include added features that may
not be available to those traveling
independently, such as special home
