CHRISTMAS IN NASHVILLE
Wednesday, Nov. 20 - Saturday, Nov. 23
This is a truly exceptional tour to experience the splendor of Christmas lights and shows to get you in the holiday spirit. It is a perennial favorite excursion that sells out every year. On the first day, we travel directly to this famous Country Music Capitol of
the U.S. and check in to the spectacular Opryland Hotel. This hotel features three indoor gardens – the Cascades, the Conservatory and the Delta – filled with expansive lush greenery, flowing fountains
and cascading waterfalls. We will stay here all three nights and experience the best that Nashville has to offer. We attend three great evening shows. The first included show at the Grand Ole Opry House. It is a Cirque Du Soleil Show with a Christmas theme. The second is the Grand Ole Opry and this time, we will see it on Friday evening. It is the longest running live radio show in America dating back to 1925. The third is a memorable Trace Adkins Christmas Show at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel convention center where we will have a great view from our reserved seats. Other highlights of this tour include a luncheon cruise with entertainment on the General Jackson Showboat, where we will get some views of the Nashville suburbs from the Cumberland River.
We also take a city tour of Nashville and drive by homes of the stars, see music row where the major recording studios are located, and view a perfect replica of the Parthenon building. Later, we peruse the Country Music Hall of Fame at our leisure. The ICE! exhibit is unique and we have a ticket waiting for you to experience spectacular ice carvings done on
a grand scale by the finest Chinese ice carvers. This winter wonderland, created from more than 2 million pounds of ice, blends breathtaking frozen creations with thrilling ice slides, as well as dramatic lighting. Each year, the ICE! exhibit features a different theme and this year’s theme is Dr. Seuss’“How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”We will tour Studio B in Nashville where many country music stars have recorded
over the years and it also was where Elvis Presley recorded many of his songs later in life. We will tour the WSM studios at the Opryland Hotel. This is a tour the entire family can enjoy with time to explore the amazing Opryland Hotel on your own and see why
it is considered one of America’s finest and most significant hotels. Four meals are included on this trip making it an exceptional value (2 breakfasts in Opryland Hotel, 1 lunch aboard the General Jackson Showboat and 1 dinner at the Trace Adkins Christmas Show).
