The nation’s first upscale indoor/outdoor water attraction has come to Nashville. This past December, guests of Nashville’s Gaylord Opryland Resort had the option to transform the way they unwind during winter weather with the opening of SoundWaves – a first-of-its-kind water and music experience. Featuring four acres of attractions and amenities, SoundWaves’ indoor venue debuted in December, guaranteeing winter water adventures, no matter the temperature outdoors.
Fusing water and music with amenities and activities, SoundWaves offers an experience unique to Music City. A modern design, sleek finishes and thrilling rides intertwined with living walls and plant beds create an alluring ambiance. Much like Gaylord Opryland’s temperature-controlled indoor gardens, SoundWaves will maintain an 84-degree tropical temperature. A uniquely-designed roof permits natural light, giving guests the opportunity to sunbathe indoors year-round.

With outdoor seasonal features set to open
summer 2019, SoundWaves offers both indoor
and outdoor recreation zones for adults, young children and families. Adult guests will have exclusive access to adults-only indoor and outdoor pools, bars and lounging areas throughout the water resort. Elevated dining experiences with local offerings and signature cocktails, along with kid-friendly fare, ensure each palate is satisfied. Private cabana rentals are available with a carefully selected capacity level to provide an exclusive and relaxing experience for all guests.
Access to SoundWaves is exclusive to those who select the overnight SoundWaves Experience Package. Availability is limited to ensure a comfortable experience. It’s available now and includes your accommodations at Gaylord Opryland Resort and a wristband for daily admission to SoundWaves. All of this can be arranged for you by an AAA counselor.
