Shop Local for Halloween This Year
   The Capital Region has been home to The Costumer New Orleans to check out the industry’s latest trends.

headquarters is home to more than
160,000 costumes. Many of these unique
costumes are designed and constructed in Schenectady by its talented staff. In fact, it
costumes more than 1,000 shows a year
across the United States. Costumes from
this local institution also can be seen in
commercials, television shows and movies,
including many of the Bud Light “Dilly,
Dilly!” spots, Saturday Night Live skits and
performers such as Kiss.
Of course, if you’re excited for Halloween,
you’re probably already thinking about what to wear. Whether it is to work, a socially distanced party or trick-or- treat around your neighborhood, or simply at home to post on social media, The Costumer has you covered. A visit there has been a family Halloween tradition for decades.
It is the most popular season for the retail store located
