See our downtown all dressed up for the holidays and enjoy a wonderful evening parade, complete with Santa & Mrs. Claus! The Reason for the Season Lighting Ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m. with the parade stepping off at

With a jaw-dropping 14 GRAMMYs and 13 IBMA Awards, mandolin legend Ricky Skaggs’ got his start in traditional bluegrass combos, at the ripe age of 16. When in his 20s, he shifted his focus to country music, he achieved twelve #1 hits, and became the youngest-ever inductee into the Grand Ole Opry. Now he returns to his roots with the blistering sextet, Kentucky Thunder. Bandleader Ricky Skaggs plays mandolin and is the lead vocalist. The group has won the Instrumental Group of the Year award from the International Bluegrass Music Association multiple times, as well as seven Grammy Awards.

Maureen McGovern is and American singer and Broadway actress, well known for her renditions of the song "We May Never Love Like This Again" from The Towering Inferno in 1974. She became world renowned with the #1 chart-topping, Academy Award-winning, gold record “The Morning After”, from The Poseidon Adventure. Over three decades, McGovern has earned a reputation for being one of America's most popular artists. For her recorded works, Maureen has been dubbed The Stradivarius Voice," and has received International Gold Records.

Rockapella is an American a cappella musical group formed in 1986 in New York City. They sing original vocal music and a cappella covers of pop and rock songs. Over time, their sound has evolved from high-energy pop and world music toward a more R&B-style sound. In the United States, Rockapella are best remembered for their role as a vocal house band on the PBS children's geography game show Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?. Rockapella has released 19 albums, both in the United States and overseas.
