Royal Caribbean’s newest member of its fleet,

Quantum of the Seas

, is a transformative ship with

many new experiences coming to our homeport of

Cape Liberty in Bayonne, New Jersey in November

2014. Itineraries will include 7-night Bahamas and

12-night Southern Caribbean sailings.

The

Quantum

will feature some of Royal

Caribbean’s favorite activities, including the rock

climbing wall and FlowRider surf simulator. The

most exciting new features are North Star and

RipCord by iFLY. North Star is a jewel-shaped glass

capsule taking groups of people to a height of

300 feet above sea level (as high as the Statue of

Liberty). RipCord by iFLY brings guests the thrill

of flying in a simulated skydiving experience. In

addition to these spectacular adventures, the

ship will also offer bumper cars, roller-skating,

self-leveling billiard tables,

and a flying trapeze, just

to name a few innovative

attractions. All of these

activities will be available

to guests at no additional

cost.

If you need some

relaxation time, you can

enjoy one of the four

onboard pool areas,

including the adults-only

solarium and an indoor

pool with a retractable

roof. If you need a quiet

place to read a book or

get together with friends

for a drink, check out the

brand newTwo70°. It’s

three decks high, with

floor-to-ceiling glass

walls, and it offers a

270-degree panoramic

view and comfortable

lounge seating. In

the evening it will

transform into a

performance center for enjoying light shows. Kids

will have a blast in the H20 Zone water park, having

breakfast with Shrek or watching a favorite movie in

3D with the DreamWorks Experience.

The

Quantum’s

Virtual Balcony staterooms with

real time views of the outside are an industry first.

The Family-Connected staterooms are perfect for

multi-generations or groups of friends traveling

together. If you are traveling alone, there are no

single supplements in the Studio staterooms. If

you are looking to splurge, the Loft Suites, with

panoramic views of the sea, will be perfect.
