Look What’s New at Walt Disney World® Resort!
• Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid. Set in Ariel’s
underwater world, this new ride takes guests through the story of
The Little Mermaid featuring all of the film’s classic songs. The
dim-lit ride sets families in giant clamshells as they move from
Ariel’s grotto through settings under the sea.
• Enchanted Tales with Belle. Enter Belle and Maurice’s enchanted
cottage, where magic furniture springs to life for a captivating session
of storytelling. Guests will meet Belle, but also use costumes and
props to become a part of the story.
• Princess Fairytale Hall. In late 2013, the much-anticipated Princes
Fairytale Hall will welcome little ones to meet their favorite princesses
in one place, with themed chambers for each character.
• Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom® . The new role-playing adventure,
Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, challenges guests to discover and
defeat the Disney villains attacking the Magic Kingdom® . Armed
with special magical cards, guests follow symbols to find villain
hideouts, and then use magic keys and spell cards to stop the
villains in their tracks.
Epcot® also features two new attractions: Re-Imagined Test Track,
located in Future World, and Phineas & Ferb: Agent P’s World Showcase
Adventure, an interactive game that turns kids into secret agents.
At the Animal Kingdom® park, Kilimanjaro Safaris has opened a zebra
savannah. And at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Legend of Captain
Jack Sparrow Experience immerses guests in the action and adventure
of the “Pirates of the Caribbean” films.
The Walt Disney World® Resort has also opened several new dining
venues, including the greatly anticipated Be Our Guest Restaurant in
Beast’s Castle, and a new value-priced resort. Disney’s Art of Animation
Resort opened its doors in 2012 with four distinctly designed wings –
“Finding Nemo,”“Cars,”“The Lion King,” and “The Little Mermaid.”
Each of the four wings celebrates rich storytelling, spirited characters,
original sketches and playfulness with colorful icons and whimsical
theming inspired by Disney•Pixar films.
