New Cars for 2014
2015 Lincoln MKC
What: This all-new compact luxury crossover
competes against the Audi Q5, Acura RDX, BMW X3,
and Mercedes-Benz GLK. Based on the Ford Escape,
it will feature the new spread-wing grille seen on
the Lincoln MKZ. It will also have a push-button
gear shifter and touch controls instead of buttons
and knobs.
Available: Spring 2014
Estimated Price: $35,000
2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA
What: Is it really possible to buy a brand new
Mercedes-Benz for less than $30,000? Nope! But you
can get close, with the CLA coming in at $31,000, after
the requisite $925 shipping charge. The German
luxury brand’s latest offering is a stylish, high-fashion,
entry-level luxury sedan, powered by a four-cylinder,
front-wheel drive powertrain. Meant to appeal to
young and young-at-heart buyers, Mercedes is
hoping to attract customers who have never before
considered a Mercedes-Benz. It looks terrific!
Available: Now
Estimated Price: $29,900
2014 Jeep Cherokee
What: Chrysler resurrected a 1980s icon, the Jeep
Cherokee, replacing and significantly improving upon
the unloved Liberty. The all-new Cherokee comes
with new, more powerful and fuel-efficient engines,
and three available 4WD systems — two with low
range and one with a locking rear differential (on the
newTrailhawk model). There’s also a fantastic new
nine-speed automatic transmission and 10 standard
airbags. It’s nothing short of excellent off road, yet
surprisingly comfortable and refined to use during a
daily commute.
Available: Now
Estimated Price: $22,995 – $29,495
2014 Toyota Corolla
What: It’s been around since 1968 and with over
40 million sold to date; the venerable Corolla is
the best-selling nameplate in the world. But more
stylish competitors from Ford Focus, Hyundai
Elantra and Honda Civic are drawing younger
buyers. So, Toyota completely redesigned the
dowdy Corolla for 2014. Its new styling is chic and
cheerful outside with a refined, roomier interior.
Available: Now
Estimated Price:
$16,800 – $20,210
2015 Ford Mustang
What: Not many cars make it to a half century of
production, but the excitement will kick into high
gear as the 2015 Mustang debuts mid-2014. We
expect an all-new look that remains true to its
unmistakable retro styling. An independent rear
suspension will replace the live axle, and a turbo will
be added to the engine options. We expect to get a
first-look at the new Mustang during January’s North
American International Auto Show in Detroit.
Available: Mid-2014
Estimated Price: $22,000 – $40,000
2014 Mitsubishi Mirage
What: For 2014, Mitsubishi brings back the Mirage
moniker, this time on one of the smallest cars in the
American market. Smaller than a Ford Fiesta, the
five-passenger, four-door hatchback is powered by
a 1.2-liter, 74-horsepower three-cylinder engine
that is expected to deliver 27/44 city/highway mpg,
making it the most fuel-efficient, non-hybrid,
gasoline-fueled car sold in America. Mirage will be
offered in two trim levels, DE and ES, with standard
features like keyless entry, power mirrors, automatic
climate control and a 140-watt stereo.

Estimated Price: $12,995 – $15,195
